Wonder if Owl will stroke out if the GOP pulls this off all over

I’ve been telling people turnout on the left is down bigly, along with polls that have been off 3-5% at minimum the last ten years. The left used to benefit from a strong youth vote and that isn’t happening on either side anymore. As long as 35+ y/o republicans turn out we have a good chance holding.

We could really use Fetterman switching parties before the election. I really don't know why he hasn't already done it.

I mentioned yesterday to Owl, "You're gonna miss this."

No, he's right where he needs to be, as long as he's there, he's keeping the leftists from running as democrats. McCain did a lot more damage to the R's from the inside than he ever would have as a democrat. He even killed a presidential cycle for the R's.

The left has always benefitted from cheating.

That’s massive good news. I’m shocked actually.

F that.
Keep him right where he is.

Scott Pressler deserves a ton of credit. We have the best gays, that’s for damn sure.

I think this election will be weird where purple seats go red but some red seats like Texas go blue.

And it has been reduced significantly the last 4 years. There’s also no motivation on the left since 2020. The youth vote used to be the Dems bread and butter.

Texas is an outlier and may go blue due to all the transplants it’s taken in. Most of those people leave democrat states to then vote the same way where they land. They’re like a cancer that spreads on to the next after they destroy it.

Why would those people flee blue states because their blueness was too extensively affecting their bottom line, only to take action to turn their new state blue as well, thereby harkening back to the situation they fled from? I know the tendency is to take a grim view of said people’s sense and intellect, but is that a realistic or reasonable view? Surely it’s nothing but senseless and low IQ people piling up all this wealth. Seems like in more cases than not it’s the opposite that would be true.
Anyhoo, so according to many among us, how long have these leftist illegals /slash/ Democrat voters been discretely populating Texas (and beyond)? Since well before this election, and in fact more than less among us would say it began quite a few national elections ago. Yet no Beto. This believed trend should have turned Texas blue quite a few years ago. Thus, I believe it’s a myth. Not necessarily a “fairytale” myth, but a myth nonetheless.
JMO. Again.

It’s been happening over the last decade with them fleeing states like California, Illinois and New York to states like Texas, Arizona, Tennessee and Florida because of taxes, property taxes, and crime.
It is cooling finally but the numbers prepandemic to now are staggering that hurt places like Texas.
California exodus numbers as an example
2016-2020 100-150k / yr
2021: 470k
2022: 337k
2023: 344k
2024: 240k
2025: 229k

He votes with the Dems about 88% of the time, and even higher if you exclude anything Israel related. Why would he switch parties, he’s a Democrat who knows he just needs to say a nice thing or two about Trump here and there to keep his purple seat.
