GOP donor Eric Deters releases video threatening take down Trump, Rubio, Wiles, and Vance

If tweet fails to load, click here. Eric Deters, a Trump donor and former Kentucky congressional candidate, teases in a video a 16-minute recorded phone call he claims contains the most explosive info yet on Kimberly Guilfoyle, potentially implicating Trump, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Susie Wiles.
The claims follow WSJ-reported texts where Guilfoyle allegedly sought $100k wired to her Amex to avoid a paper trail before her 2025 Greece ambassadorship confirmation, in exchange for access to administration officials; she resigned this week after the scandal. He is upset that he paid her to get favors from the Trump administration and now he is mad and wants revenge because it didn't happen.
Deters filed a defamation suit against Guilfoyle on October 15 and promises to play the recording October 16, drawing online reactions labeling it clickbait while some await the promised release.
I believe what he is threatening would be legally considered "Extortion".

I doubt Trump himself is part of this but is fuels the narratives that those close to him are enriching themselves due to access to the admin, which plays into the "he is terrible at hiring people" meme (see: new press secretary) and the grifting meme emerging with MAGA, generally.
It's a terrible look and I imagine will become a focus of Congressional investigations if they take a chamber in November.

Sounds like the fbi just needs to reach out and tell him he just admitted to illegally paying an official for special favors...see if he just walks away cause the IRS will be reaching out soon.

I stopped at mega donor and Congress candidate. Looks like he gave more money than the average Joe but a couple hundred thousand is not a mega donor .
