That old Obama loving liberal can still vote for her Democrats. I don't know why everyone is upset.

It's Al Capone's birthday as well. I'll celebrate him before I celebrate an Obama lover. He is of better character.

Betty was pretty loose though. She was posing 'nekkid' back when decent women didn't do that. She has more of her young nude pics online than a KarTrashian.

She goes into another one of those categories of mine.
Probably a nice person but I did not find any of her performances funny. Very low level humor.

Kinda ghoulish seeing all the “Betty Turns 100!” magazine covers in the checkout line at the grocery store, considering she died at 99.

My wife watches reruns of Golden Girls often, mostly because of fond memories of watching it with her grandmother. I believe it aired originally on Saturdays, and she visited grandma often on weekends.

The show was so boringly written, I'm a little surprised the following is so strong. But White's character is really full of terribly unfunny lines.

A couple times, my wife even agreed with me and said "wow, that was cringeworthy stupid".

Writing is the key to humor. I had a good friend in college named Rick Hawkins. He was an excellent theater actor. He told me he was going off to Hollywood.
Me: 'Gonna be a big star?'
Him: 'No. Everyone in Hollywood can act. No one can write.'
He became a sit com writer for Vicki Lawrence TV shows.
I gave up watching network sitcoms in the early 70s due to horrible writing. The last network show I watched was Green Acres.
The creation of Cable TV allowed some excellent stuff.

I missed whenever it was it became cool to be such a big fan of hers. What caused her popularity the last few years?

Specifically Google? Or is there something you're wanting us to find? Your OP is severely lacking on details.

That was the one and only time she said a word about politics. She always identified as a "bi-partisan".

Thought she was funny as hell.

Her best role was the slutty happy homemaker on MTM show. Otherwise, I pass.

Spot on. Same thing with music and why I hate most of it nowadays, nobody can write anymore. At least in rock
