How does that imply me thinking it doesnt happen?
Because you're refusing to entertain the complaint to begin with.
You don't want the discussion to be on woke college campuses, you want to berate concerned parents and pretend they're just upset their children will be exposed to people who think differently than them.
That's a strawman.

I don’t understand why people pretend that colleges aren’t trying to indoctrinate students in leftist, progressive thinking.
Who is doing that?
That's been an important developmental step in American youth since the Vietnam era. I can't imagine skipping that step. Hell, that experience is possibly more valuable than the education you receive at college. You can always learn stuff in various contexts, but you only get one period of your life to enjoy the proper college experience.

I definitely wasn’t indoctrinated at LSU. And Bob Mann was one of my professors. I was super conservative in college.
I’m back in school now and I’m still not being indoctrinated at all. Unless you think exposing people to different ideas is indoctrination? Isn’t that simply teaching?

I don't always agree with you but I do think you're one of the more intelligent people here.

The ability for an adult brain to change doesn't mean that changes past a certain point are developmental.
You're suggesting that there are genetic changes meant to occur neurologically that don't kick in until you're in your 40s, 50s, and 60s? What are some of these *developmental* changes?

Lawyer question. Drop the autism and join a discussion.

Not necessarily
But let's say tomorrow you have some terrible accident and lose your vision. Your brain will definitely reconfigure itself to support other senses that you will not rely on to make up for your lack of sight.

"Like, bro, you're just, like, upset that your kid is gonna have a beer or two."

I have the same question. Which has yet to be addressed.

Ignore him.
Kids today are maturing more slowly in the cognitive area. Its not due to environmental factors, its a choice we've made.

That's an adaptive change, not a developmental change.

My last job at LSU (spring/summer of '60) was in helping with some "step and fetch it" jobs while they were putting in the foundation. I worked for Dr. Voorhies as a paper grader, but he knew I needed more work so 'lent' me to the construction crew.
Never got to see it until I took my granddaughters to visit the campus back in the '80s.
The youngest became a Golden Girl in 2005.
(most beautiful girl to ever attend LSU - subtle brag - no pix.)

If you’re doing adult education, you’re not as likely to be bombarded with leftism. And the teachers for those courses aren’t as often part of the true-believer crowd.
And for SFP, here’s one saying it’s not happening.
