We just want to be treated equally. That is what they said for years. I guess that means their real end goal is to have half of the people on TV be LGBlahblahblah.

They can 100% push this on television and I'd be happy. The majority of the population rolls their eyes at this kind of blatant "product placement" (let's face it LGTBQ people are used as pawns). People will tune this out and Hollywood's demise will continue at a faster pace. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes like losing market share and ad dollars.

IIRC, one of the more famous gay-centric series, Queer As Folk, had one or more characters who were meth-addicted and HIV+.

That and GLAAD just did the research for us. 10% of TV characters are LGBTQ despite them making only 4% of the pop.
So they're already massively overrepresented and they still want more.
