Get Ready for More Chicken Shortages

The USDA is proposing new regulations to "crack down" on raw chicken that is contaminated with salmonella. You read that right, raw.
It occurs naturally in the animal, unless you pump them full of antibiotics, which is also not currently allowed.

This will not be Russia's fault, it will not be China's fault, it will not be Trump's fault, it will not be Climate Change's, it will not be White Privilege's fault.
This will be the complete and 100% fault of our own executive branch of government.
EDit- I incorrectly identified the FDA, it is a USDA proposal.

2020 due to people hoarding and plants being shut down due to Rona. Grocery store shelves were bare in many places. CHicken wing restaurants were out of Chicken Wings.
You must not be old enough to do your own grocery shopping. Ask your mommy what it was like trying to buy chicken two years ago.

Avian Bird flu wiped out 2 Million Chickens at an Egg Farm 20 Miles north of me on the Idaho Utah Border. There are many other farms that had to destroy millions.

a coworkers sister bought chickens from tractor supply recently and was asked to fill out a form with all her personal information. i don't think that's normal.

No shite. I couldn’t find potatoes this weekend.
Even called my local little produce farmer market guy and he said he had none and didn’t know when he would get any. Said he doesn’t know what’s going on but potatoes have dried up.
