Well hopefully 2 months is enough time to round up all the republicans behind Handel.

Vitter could've squeaked past JBE if he had another month to round up enough of Dardenne and Angelle voters.

Nah, he'll hit the high forties but I don't think he takes this one home tonight. Runoff might be possible though.

Trending toward about 48.5% for Ossoff based on this nifty spreadsheet with a district by district benchmark for 50%.

Good. All the pubs needed was a runoff. Ossoff will get beaten like a red headed step child in the runoff with just one pub running against him.

If he's sitting in the high 40s I wouldn't be too comfortable. With all the hype, that's probably his ceiling in the runoff.

I have heard hundreds of ads on am radio and they are all Ossoff or Ossoff-is-bad ads with no opposing candidate mentioned.
I had to look up who was running against Ossoff. I guess they're waiting until the runoff to put money behind a candidate

That would make for a pretty big polling bust with most everything clustered between 40- 42%.

A jungle primary that lets anybody and everybody run nearly handed Osoff the win.

It's not a good system as democrats have trended towards identifying one candidate early on and circling around while the GOP stays neutral towards the republicans running. That has to change if the GOP wants to make sure jungle primaries do not hand democrats confounding wins they should have no business getting.
