Was the alleged Target encounter on video? I’m not following…I thought the poster was stating that they didn’t believe the Gov’s account of shopping at Target.
I personally don’t believe anything Newsome says so I doubt he’s being honest about the encounter.

I believe he’s talking about the incident not the interview. That Newsome considers the 950 theft law is a deterrent is amazingly simple minded of him . It is a enhanced version of stealing for income

The Target encounter wasnt on video. Newsome is on video describing what happened though. Apparently he was at Target when a shop lifter stole a bunch of items in front of him. When Newsome asked the cashier why no one was doing anything about it, the cashier responded (not realizing she was talking to Newsome) that it was the Governors fault for not punishing shop lifters who stole less than $1000 in merchandise and for the no bail release when they were caught. Essentially telling him to his face that this was his fault.

Newsome later got on a zoom call and talked about the experience pretending to be the victim.

Newsome admitted in his story he asked the female employee for her manager. His name is now officially Karen Newsome.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... Well, Governor, it's because YOU made it a misdemeanor for theft under $950. You fricknut.

Newsome is right the threshold for grand theft is 10th lowest in the nation. Most states are at $1000 or more.

However the problem is the lack of prosecution of misdemenor theft, there is no punishment for misdemenor thefts

Should be able to run up so many counts that the thieves can’t defend themselves and get sentenced to 100 consecutive six month sentences.

Yeah - the voters passed Prop 47.

But the legislature passed and Newsom signed some bullshite law that made it harder for stores to have employees stop theft.

Hey dipshit McGee, the target thing didn’t happen. There’s zero chance he was at a target checking out and had that encounter? Is there a video of that?

No, the incident is not. If it is, find it. There’s zero fricking chance Gavin has been in a target “shopping” anytime recently.
