california shut down refineries. ukraine is blowing up russian diesel refineries and storage. american refineries are selling more overseas than internally because they get more money from them thus driving our costs up due to supply issues. Trump didnt cause any of this, he has been trying to fix it but the globalists and liberals are fighting tooth and nail....

My husband drives us around too. When we lived in BR, I always drove though because I knew BR better than him.

I just paid my first $7 per gallon tank of diesel in northern Arizona (Ok $6.99 in reality). I can easily afford that. It doesn't mean that I have to like it or ignore what it is doing to the cost of goods and services, however. Two things can be true at once.

Yeah, when you’re openly hostile towards oil, you’re at least investing in alternatives.

Right now Diesel is $5.90/gal in Texas and about 70¢ higher nationally. This threatens to accelerate inflation and product shortages for consumers. That's real, not fake outrage. There's an affordability crisis in America. End the tariffs and the war now.

What Trump is doing is hurting everyone else far more than us and hes laying a foundation for decreased global dependence on a narrow geographical feature controlled by people who hate us. Iran isnt going to recover from this any time soon, the US is exporting more petro than ever, and we have Venezuela in our pocket now instead of China's.
If you look past the price you are paying at the pump, theres a good bit of America first happening here.
Of course high diesel prices are horrible for the economy. The alternative fuels incentives were nothing more than corporate welfare and a frick you to the oil majors. Egg prices are back down. Why dont we talk about that? Theres a lot of good going on if you zoom out further than the price on the gas pump.
