Can't believe how many of my "Conservative" friends went Cavender's, bought boots and hat, and spent ton$ to get tix to see this deuche, fake-cowboy put on his little show in TS!

didn't watch, but did the congregation actually recite The Lord's Prayer right after the singing of Imagine?
I heard that was the case but not sure. O' the irony.

Yeah, but he’s Callin' Baton Rouge.
LSU should stop using it. It's fricking horrible.

He wasn't the first to record that song.

That song, imo, is highly inappropriate to sing at any funeral. But we shouldn't expect anything less.

I never understood the popularity of Garth Brooks by the C&W crowd.
He seemed to draw the pop/crossover crowd and lost everyone when he became Chris Gaines. Fake, syrupy persona and self-aggrandizing douche. Never understood the appeal.

John Lennon said the lyrics were basically the communist manifesto which was written by one of the worlds most famous atheist.
Seems appropriate i guess.

Imagine was a bad choice for a song.
Garth looked different. Did he do club for men hair growth and dye black?

But that song… think that’s not on the approved list?

Can you imagine writing a song this embarrassing

Such a great song about the man who wrote Imagine.

I never understood the popularity of Garth Brooks by the C&W crowd. At age 66, I've listened to a lot of old school country music over the years, Brooks is the epitome of New Country/Nashville Formulaic BS I never liked Brooks' voice, didn't like most of his songs and his stage schtick got old real quick, won't even go into his Woke arse politics.
His first record was really good country. After that he wanted to be Billy Joel too bad and migrated far from country.

This is why goooooooooooberments protected Lennon.

Hopefully they had a choir for the background vocals.

You shut your whore mouth. LSU fans love piling into Tiger Stadium screaming that glorious song at the top of their lungs while chugging Tranny Light.
