Poors like you sure are mad about EV’s.
Poors? You're either an insensitive a-hole or a troll (neither is a compliment). I lean towards "troll", but take your pick.

"In this paper, we show that the average model year (MY) 2021 EV would cost $48,698 more to own over a 10-year period without $22 billion in government favors given to EV manufacturers and owners."
So $5000 more a year. That's gonna triple my cost per year

Heating a home with natural gas costs about 1/4 the amount that it would cost with electric heat. That simple fact tends to indicate that the cost of EV charging is much higher than claimed.
Let me know when I can put something on my roof and in my yard to collect natural gas.

Among those who would consider purchasing an EV, about seven-in-ten say helping the environment (72%) and saving money on gas (70%) are major reasons why. A small share (12%) cite keeping up with the latest trends in vehicles as a major reason.

Just over a third of Americans say EVs are better for driving places they go day-to-day than gas-powered vehicles, but majorities say they are better for reducing climate change (59 percent) and air pollution (70 percent).

As of March 2022, environmental concerns were the leading reason for survey respondents across the globe to consider the purchase of an electric vehicle.

Lower fuel costs and being more environmentally friendly are the top reasons why consumers say they’d purchase an EV, according to the AAA survey:
