There is some scientific evidence that a large enough quake can literally split a large portion of Cali apart from the continental US, potentially completely submerging it as well.

Lex Luther may have had right idea of buying up cheap land. Big one hits and cheap land just became beachfront property and a port.

I'm sure the left and Al Gore will figure out a way to blame humans for this too. We will need a Federal Cascadia Subduction Zone Tax Credit Reversal Offset Redirect Program to fix this.
