Dictator. Corrupt. Heartless. Yes. But I've never thought him to be a grifter. My reasoning is.. he's our puppet. We would ship out money regardless of what he says. He's not pulling a grift and fooling us, he's probably just saying shite we tell him to say. Grifters are the ones who keep voting yes to ship out money...and using emotions to trick so many of us peasants into cheering it on.

As others have noted, the reporting here is a little sketchy. She may have spent 40K euros. Did she buy every staffer in parliment a small gift or get one of those tiny giraffes?
I don't know the answer. I do know that asking what Putin's wife or girlfriend spent isn't relevant.
