This move is simply Fox trying to go woke. Paul Ryan and other RINOs never liked him from the start.
No that is more likely a Legal Team and their CFO's looked at all the lawsuits still on the horizon and cut bait with Tucker now. Better to settle for an agreeable amount then go to court with having numerous Fox TV Hosts on the stand having to say they did not believe the Dominion Story to be true but pushed it anyway.
The Grossberg allegations were made public in the Dominion case and became public in the last Month.
Given O'Reilly's sexual harassment issues at Fox and Gretchen Carlson's winning against Roger Ailes, does Fox want to take a chance in a court on this Abby Grossberg allegation against Tucker when they have had a history of this in the past. They did not let it play out with Bill O'Reilly and Ailes, they settled both cases. Ailes resigned in the summer of 2016 after not only Carlson, but Megyn Kelly made the same accusations. O'Reilly settled with several women over sexual harassment issues and they fired him rather than have him stick around.
If you were running Fox, would you want to let this play out? My guess is the BOD got word from Shareholders, Fox Legal and the CFO and Accounting people and said let him go.

If Tucker wants to be a journalist and break real stories, he needs to go independent. He has the following. Charge $10-$20 a month for membership. Answer to no one! If he goes to a network, he is selling out for the dollar. When your being paid by the man, the man can always put his thumb on you.

As part of the settlement Fox will be taking down all of Tucker’s shows from its website and on YouTube. They are cleaning themselves of Tucker to stop his following from growing larger.
