People do have a thing for saying "Fox says" when they have people ranging from Donna Brazile to Greg Gutfield appearing regularly.
You can do that with cnn or msnbc and be consistent 98% of the time.

Rudy is in part to blame due to his slow-walking these leaks. He can say he has this evidence all day long but eventually he has to actually show it or risk getting called out on it.
