She had me fooled..
How?
She was anti intervention during her entire career.
Trump ran on an anti-intervention platform and she campaigned with him talking about these exact points. Do you want the clips?
Exactly how is her statement disingenuous?
The objective truth is that the people in this thread attacking her statement are doing so because Trump changed his mind and has been strongly interventionist in his second term so far and as a result many of his supporters have had to pivot and are now attacking anyone who doesn’t go along with it.

Just think…if DJT had only allowed her to keep her slave labor and backed her in her Senate run, she’d be leading the charge on this military operation.
Instead, she’s auditioning for a spot on The View.

I'd like to ask someone with her idea against the strikes, but someone rational.....what if we didn't strike?
quote:
They've been promising to annihilate us for decades.
They can’t project power and there’s zero evidence that’s been presented publicly to show they were actually about to have usable nuclear weapons.
The Israelis, Bibi in particular have wanted them wiped out and have been pushing this regime change and the “weeks away” narrative since I was a toddler.
They saw an opportunity with Trump in the WH and Iran aligned with China/Russia to take their shot and here we are.
It’s not because there was any imminent threat of nuclear weapons or use, it’s because it was in the long term strategic interest of Israel to do so and Trump probably (rightly) believes this undermines Chinese geopolitical leverage in the region and globally as they could lose access to the oil there.
If the intent was to project power that should’ve been the platform and we could discuss the pros and cons. I actually support the action in Venezuela because I see tangible benefits to kicking China out of the western hemisphere and aligning Venezuela with us. But instead we got a bait and switch and the MAGA people who wanted to address the domestic issues are now getting scolded if they have the temerity to call out the obvious betrayal on this and Epstein.
The young voters who got Trump and the GOP over the top haven’t gotten s*** to show for their vote thus far but a do nothing GOP Congress, more spending on stuff we don’t want and wars (engagements involving killing other people for the word game people on here) and virtually no job creation yet while we usher in unchecked AI to wipe out the white collar jobs we were all told to get student loans to pursue growing up.
If you think that Gen Z and millennial male voters are going to continue to support that in numbers that win national elections you’re mistaken. It’s just reinforcing that the real choice is just between an awful DNC that wants to eliminate young white men and a GOP that is only better in that they will placate us with lies as they actually do whatever the donor class tells them to.

Then go vote Democrat and enjoy the screw job from them.

If someone came on this board before the election and said Trump would have us involved in a major intervention in Iran in the first 14 months of his presidency, they would have been called crazy and a liar.
The only American lives impacted by this action are going to be among the families and soldiers who end up injured or dead.
And of course the huge bill for the American taxpayer.

I was told we wiped out their nuclear program months ago. Was I told a lie?

What a compelling argument to turn out the younger vote:
“Well we don’t want to eradicate you from existence because you fall in line with our base demographics so enjoy us ignoring the domestic front initiatives we campaigned on and lying to you while we run up more debt to pursue foreign engagements with Israel your children and grand children will have to address once we’re dead”.
Really killing it with that messaging and logic. Its actually pretty funny that your statement is a caricature of how the younger generations view the older demographic that’s in power currently.

It’s obviously tribal, but as someone who votes red because of how my actual individual views align rather than some team I cheer for blindly I’m gonna force the agenda to be defended on logical merit when it doesn’t align.
The older Trump base doesn’t get that the younger Trump voters aren’t gonna put up with the same BS they did from GOP politicians. They’ll stay home or split because many of us have nothing in common with the neocon right or the globalist establishment wing. We came on board for the Trump MAGA / Charlie Kirk / JD Vance domestic economic and cultural improvement platform and this doesn’t nothing for that.

You think it stratifies by age? I get the impression that the true faithful trend young if anything, but that's worth what you paid for it.
Most of the older Trump voters I know just wish he'd stay off X and do his thing.

Who is "we", that she is referring to? Who told her that she spoke for all of us? I didn't vote for no wars, and I didn't vote for war, either. I don't predict the future, as to what may come about that might make war necessary. Iran is an enemy who doesn't respond to warnings. So, what do we do with them? Let them nuke us? Or, do we strike? I think the correct decision was made.

I believe it does.
If you get your news from Fox News you are far more likely to accept the team messaging and that group skews heavily to the older demographic.
Younger Trump voters get their news from podcasts that are far more likely to go counter to that messaging because they don’t rely on corporate ad spending for their revenue and the listeners grew up pathologically skeptical as hell of both parties for a myriad of reasons.
Charlie Kirk was screaming to anyone who would pay attention in the GOP that they had to deliver on domestic economic outcomes for younger voters and while I believe Trump onshoring business will help those projects are still 2-3 years out. Meanwhile we are hemorrhaging quality middle/upper middle class corporate jobs for young people due to H1B, AI and crappy Biden economic outcomes and that’s going to open the door for angry young men who haven’t had success to swing towards socialism.
The lies about Epstein and the foreign policy “pivot” don't help at all either.

Why can't this lady get it through her thick skull that we can just print the money to pay for everything we're doing?

In her final farewell video she called out Q and said there is no plan.
Flynn did the same.
What do people think, was she duped by Q, or she was duping people in an op?

If they happen at all. To the extent that this is all EO tariff driven it's all smoke, because it can be reversed in 3 years. That's a big gamble for a large physical investment.
