Oh so I guess the employee pricing discount thing ended?

Buy those cars now! Before it's too late!

why would Ford raise prices on American made cars sold to Americans because of tariffs on foreign countries?
Color me skeptical of all things media. Did they run to Ford to get a comment on price increases after Biden laid down his EV mandate?

Yeah, if they move production back to the U.S., the tariffs can easily be avoided.

Should work out well on that bottom line for sales

Because they use a lot of foreign parts.

They do produce them in the US. The parts they use and the steel come from Canada and Mexico, which is subject to tariffs.

If Ford would build them (and their parts) in the US there would be no tariffs and no need for them to raise prices.
But if they build them completely here the price would be higher, but the higher price is because some AMERICAN got paid to build it.
I would much rather pay more for an American to build it.

Are you wearing clothes and shoes made in America? You can pay more now for an American to produce the things you buy, but you probably don't.

I paid $37k for my '14 gmc double cab z71 4x4. It has less 80k miles. Paid $37k +++ @ 1.9% in Hawaii in a tough buyers market. Never again, that's was the most I will ever fork out. They've completely lost their minds, fk 'em. I'll just do what I have to to keep this thing running. If I did ever by chance buy another truck I'd look for '98-'06 gmc/chevy with a 4.8. My '01 gmc with that engine was the best I ever owned, wish I'd just kept it.

Then start making the steel and parts here. Also, any vehicle whose VIN starts with 2 or 3 is made in Canada or Mexico.

Well, I will not buy a FORD in the meantime......simple to me.

I tend to like them as I’ve been getting them since the 70’s when I bought a new P/U for 4500.00. Owned a lot of them, also other brands at same time. The thing is all vehicles are way to overpriced
