At night I won’t pick up WWL. Sad times we live in.

It seems like it will cost more to retool the radios to get rid of AM than to just keep it.

If Ford continues on its intended trajectory, only government funding will keep that company alive.

I am reminded of my days in St. Louis back in early 60's trying to listen to LSU football on Sat nites. 870 was my prime target and I'd load up the car and drive the wife and kids all around the area trying to find some tolerable reception.

Once, while on the way home from work, I was just rotating thru the dial while crossing some railroad tracks - and a station I recognized came thru loud and clear. It was some station in Shreveport - (forget the call sign now) - but for the next couple years of our residence there, I would be practically straddling the RR tracks during Saturday nites. (found a back road that crossed the tracks so I'd only have to move away from the roadway when a train was coming. - wife didn't care for that much.)

Your favorite commie news is also on fM too so you are straight. Well, I doubt that but you know what I mean.

I actually have about a 20 mile stretch of highway I drive on once a month where I have to use am. Get no FM except some guys yelling from the pulpit and my cell phone does not get a signal there. I think am radio listening to a saints game is great.

Don't buy a FORD.
