re: For those who still want to teach Trump a lesson for high gas prices…

People need to remember that these gas prices are temporary and that democrats endorse permanent high gas prices to push green energy. Just look at gas prices in California to see what happens when republicans aren’t there to keep the democrats in check.

You don’t need a link.
Just listen to these Dems talk when they are being interviewed. They all openly talk about this stuff.

That's of course a very relative statement
Life is temporary
If these gas prices remain inflated for the rest of Trump's term would that still qualify as "temporary" for you?

Yes, as long as they would eventually fall if a similar energy policy was continued. The point is that the republicans’ energy policy is much more conducive to low gas prices than democrats. Republicans are for drilling as much as possible and increasing refining capacity. One of the biggest reasons gas prices don’t stay lower is because oil companies are afraid to invest in increasing refining capacity because the democrats have created so much future uncertainty by pushing green energy. Oil companies don’t know for sure that their oil will be in high demand 10-20 years from now. It is also an explicitly stated goal by many democrats(the only ones dumb enough to state their true intentions) that their goal is to price people out of gasoline to force them over to “clean” energy.

It doesn’t take but a minute or two to do a little research and verify what Hakeem Jeffries has stated will be their first 100 days plan IF THEY WIN.
Even then, having a plan and actually implementing it can be quite different in regards to success.

First, you have to understand the nature of asymmetrical war. You have to accept there is no Marathon, Hastings, Waterloo, or Stalingrad where thousands of soldiers close with the enemy in an attempt to destroy them.
There were Iranian kinetic attacks that impacted 7 tankers in the SoH in the last 25 hours. This is not fully confirmed so it may be incorrect but there have been ongoing kinetic attacks in the recent weeks.
I understand your desire to now call the conflict a war, but that is really a semantic issue. The most recent attacks would be considered an act of war in almost every situation.
The US "pause" is being done out of a desire to preserve political capital, but it breaks a basic rule of warfighting. It won't change the ultimate outcome, but it will change the costs for both sides.

This is stupid.
The US declared war on Japan on Dec 7, 1941.
They first attack by the US happened 4 months later. It was nothing more than an air raid.
Then next came the battle of Midway a little over a month later. Where we took out a bunch of carriers and other naval ships.
It wasn't until 8 months after the US declared war that we had troops on the ground when we started storming beaches of islands they occupied.
Are you telling me the US wasn't at war during this time against Japan?

That list just reads like sensational newspaper headlines. What does body of the article actually say?
Re-open the border? I’m not aware of anyone saying this, especially any candidate in Texas. Who has said they don’t want border security?
War on oil and gas? Thats vague. Meaning what exactly?
Defund the police is just a chant that people say. Like “lock her up”. Police Funding is a state budget consideration.
The fact that no specific document or person is attributed to this “list” is telling.
