What kind of so called Christian celebrates Military Veterans who serve in the Federal Government losing their jobs? I’m a United States Military Veteran. I am a Civil Servant and I work my tail off for my Country and for the American People. My job isn’t on the line but many other Veterans’ Jobs are. And people are celebrating it.

Let me help you out with this. Those mf'ers have owed me over $60k for almost 3 years now. So those 6000 can kiss my arse and good riddance to them.

Everyone should be able to do that easily and for free. Hell the IRS should be able to do it in seconds. The government, through our employer sends us our W2s, they have all of that info, we shouldn;t have to go through the whole teeth gnashing of "tax season". I

The IRS has a Direct File program and Intuit and H&R Block lobbied to block it.

You are angry at the wrong people. The IRS has continually pushed for the Direct File program.

Tax accountants work with businesses more. I personally hate dealing with 1040s and they are just a necesary evil.

The IRS has no visiblity for businesses --- the IRS does not have the ability to prepare a 1065 or 1120 on their own as they don't have access to the information.

Even if 1040s are automated away -- I have a enough business work that I will be fine.

You seem to lake an understanding of the whole system.

As a veteran you should appreciate this is a war…a war for the financial survival of our country. And with any war there are casualties.

Citizens have been getting fired and laid off forever. Being a Federal employee or contractor isn’t a guaranteed job for life.

Stop repeating a LIE you frickin retards. 80K agents were not hired. The fundiing was approved.

I would not expect this board of midwits to know that. MAGAtards see a headline and chant it non stop until they believe it.

Stop posting blatant and easily verifiable misinformation.

Nice made-up statistic. My worst problems with the IRS were from dealing with WFH agents. My tax advisor said most of the WFH personnel had little supervision and almost no training. The ones handling my case should be fired.

Before these layoffs, the IRS is already six months behind even opening mail. The system is broken and too complicated.

I’m a 3 time Trump voter but this thread is a perfect example of how fricking stupid a lot of Trump voters are.

First, you have a CPA who is not an IRS employee explaining why having less IRS employees is not a good thing, yet he is getting beat up for trying to give a coherent explenation.

Then you have the numerous morons who can’t comprehend a fricking simple sentence about the 80k agents who were NOT hired.

Democrats are overwhelmingly stupid, but Republicans certainly have their fair share.

Downvote away simpletons.

I’d rather deal with the states than the IRS. The states mostly can be worked with.

I spent the early years of my career mopping up dumbass IRS agents that struggled with tax codes.

No it’s not. I voted for the change. I’ve voted Republican my entire life and always will. What I disagree with is the frothing at the mouth and celebrating that people are losing their jobs and how many of you believe the conspiracy laden garbage out there. No one in the IRS is making 6 figures. Not one of the Revenue Agents or anyone in the regular service is issued or carries a weapon but it’s eaten up here like it’s gospel. There are Veterans who I work with and who are also Conservative Christians and Republicans whose lives are being radically changed by this mass firing of federal employees. And this isn’t a war. Please don’t ever equate it to one. This is a purge, plain and simple. I’m glad they are finding fraud and setting it right but you do it with people who are responsible for the theft, not a blanket retaliation.

Insert crying meme of girl and HER DOG who would become homeless during to fed job cuts. Screw anyone who want to ride the government teat. And, btw, screw you for trying to misuse Christianity and turn it into some liberal concept

You think they are just firing workers and aren’t going to make the office more efficient?

MAGA midwits have no coherent plan or ideology.

Don't waste your time as you won't get a coherent answer....just mindless chants that they are indoctrinated to believe as gospel.

Please give the class a coherent, well-reasoned plan and alternative for properly funding the government if you were to get your wish of no more income tax or IRS.

You need specifics and a plan or you can be summarily dismissed. You can't just chant burn it all down without an adequate alternative.
