No it’s not. I voted for the change. I’ve voted Republican my entire life and always will. What I disagree with is the frothing at the mouth and celebrating that people are losing their jobs and how many of you believe the conspiracy laden garbage out there. No one in the IRS is making 6 figures. Not one of the Revenue Agents or anyone in the regular service is issued or carries a weapon but it’s eaten up here like it’s gospel. There are Veterans who I work with and who are also Conservative Christians and Republicans whose lives are being radically changed by this mass firing of federal employees. And this isn’t a war. Please don’t ever equate it to one. This is a purge, plain and simple. I’m glad they are finding fraud and setting it right but you do it with people who are responsible for the theft, not a blanket retaliation.
What kind of so called Christian celebrates Military Veterans who serve in the Federal Government losing their jobs? I’m a United States Military Veteran. I am a Civil Servant and I work my tail off for my Country and for the American People. My job isn’t on the line but many other Veterans’ Jobs are. And people are celebrating it.

Biden hired 80,000 fricking IRS

No he didn’t. Quit repeating this lie
From SNOPES:
SNOPES: IRS AgentsThis claim misrepresents a 2021 U.S. Treasury Department report estimating that around $80 billion in funding would allow the IRS to incrementally hire nearly 87,000 employees by the year 2031. Most of those hires would be replacements for workers retiring from existing positions, including not only IRS enforcement agents, but also customer service and technology specialists. According to the Treasury Department, audit rates for those earning less than $400,000 in actual income will not rise.
After the U.S. Senate had passed a sweeping spending budget in August 2022, A couple Congressmen began spreading false claims about the roughly $80 billion of funding allocated to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). They said, for example, that the IRS would be hiring 87,000 new tax agents who would be "coming for" average Americans.
The IRS is not planning to hire 87,000 new tax agents for the purposes of targeting or "coming for" Americans who earn below a certain income. These exaggerated claims appeared to be aimed, at least in part, at capitalizing on partisan anger over the raid on former U.S. President Donald Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago earlier in August. The raid was part of an investigation into whether Trump took classified records from the White House to his Mar-a-Lago residence, and had no apparent connection to taxes or the IRS.

Biden hired 80,000 additional agents

No he didn’t. That is a complete falsehood.
The statement by Kevin McCarthy after the FBI Illegally raided President Trump’s Home was a complete lie. The Treasury Department’s Statement said that within the next 8 years that with the money saved by retiring Treasury Department Employees and people leaving the service, that they could conceivably hire 87,000 new employees at the rate of 10,000 per year. No IRS agent is issued a firearm. Only Deputized Criminal Investigators have one and they number less than 3,000 total. People that are being fired are United States Military Veterans, brought in on a Veterans hiring wave. 3,000 people who have families that have absolutely nothing to do with taking your tax money have been unceremoniously dumped and all of you so called Christian Conservatives are cheering it on.
