You bet. The world was more sane back then. Having World Book Encyclopedias for a reference wasn't such a bad thing in hindsight.

It gives the village idiots that people use to laugh at and ignore an international platform.Every advantage of information access comes with allowing pedos an thieves into your home.

We can disconnect but few have.

For cell phones I would never voluntarily give up Google Maps. That alone is worth the extortion data rates.

I am young enough to not remember a world with no internet, but I wholeheartedly agree that social media is detrimental to mental health and forces a disingenuous view of the world upon children and teenagers.

Sitting in front of a computer screen for hours each day will probably take more time from your life as anything else.

Too much good comes from the internet to want it completely gone. I would delete social media platforms in a heartbeat, though.

True. Business would have come to an abrupt halt during Coronavirus if not for the internet. The world was better off before social media though.

1000% yes. I would go back even knowing the good things about it to stop Social Media from ever coming into existence. It’s the core issue of our downfall.

Back when social media was very niche

56 here,

I don't know man, most of my life was pre internet's...

It's a game changer for sure.

Would it be better?

Nope.

Will it be better when it's made better for us all?

Prolly...
