You people are crazy.

Massie is not getting the bill renegotiated. He is not going to change it a single iota. all he is doing is wasting tax payer money. If he really was this principled then he should have made sure to get involved when the bill was being made, go on tv when to drive his points, build a coalition in congress. I agree the bill isn't perfect, but all he is doing right now is saying, I didn't get what I wanted so I am going to make your life hell.

When this bill gets passed

A libertarian is a conservative. Just because you and your ilk moved the goal post and changed the definition doesn't change shite.

Small government across the board is conservative.

Gross oversimplification.

There are a half-dozen definitions of “conservatism,” several of which are mutually-exclusive. You are generalizing.

Absolutely, but a conservative should believe in following to constitution and role of the federal government is to fullfil it's constitutionally mandated duties only and not much else.

I.e. libertarian

Do you really think he's going to try to actually "stop it"?

This.

Just confirms my core belief that voting for ANYONE is a total waste of time.

The State will always - ALWAYS - triumph. That djinn left the bottle decades ago.

True... they think they are better than conservatives and above them.

Also... most (at least on here) are actually liberals, but want to call themselves libertarians. I guess they think it makes them sound smarter or something.
