What? That’s a baseless charge. I’ve heard Barkley criticize black people for being lazy. I’ve heard him state that he doesn’t care if he is thought of as a role model, and he’ll continue to do and say whatever he wants. I don’t see how stating these opinions profits him.
Barkley is an opinionated man who has never thought deeply. He is typical of a lot of highly successful people whose success in one field makes them overconfident in other fields.
