Well you just blew a big arse hole in your argument about secret this and that. Secret means no one knows about it doesn't it. Just because you and I didn't know about it doesn't mean it was secret does it?

I imagine most attacks on our democracy are occurring from within these days.

And we only care about things we get emotional over. Not too much emotion in this story.

this has got to be the lamest, most dramatic and ridiculous phrase coined as a talking point. I don't know who is worse. The people who came up with it, or the people who repeat it.

I guess I will do it the same way Democrats defended Hillary during the email scandal, or how they defended their losing of the election...

blame the Russians.

You mean this?? I don't remember...whatever happened to that traitorous creep??? I don't know how anyone could defend that, especially after all the press and media focus on it.

So what information did the Obama Administration have and how long did they sit on it? Somebody in your boy's admin knew Flynn was communicating with the Russians. If it is against the Logan Act now, it was against it before Obama left office.

Are you serious?

Trump fired Flynn when it became clear Flynn lied to VP Pence about the calls. It became a matter of trust. He didn't fire Flynn for talking to his Russian counterpart.

You've gone completely insane following Hillary's defeat.

Toddy,

I've pretty much had enough with the misrepresentations of what happened in the election vis a vis the Russians . You can continue the spin that the Russians were "attacking our democracy" all you want and you would be wrong.

The Russians if they did anything got hold of phished emails of a PRIVATE citizen in John Podesta. They also got emails of DNC staffers who are not government employees. They then gave those correspondence to WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks then published some EMAILS. There was nothing classified. They did it because the Russians and Julian Assange had a beef with Clinton/Obama. Clinton and her people got sloppy. The emails only reinforced what a lot of people already thought of Hillary Clinton.

I would wager to bet that the reason why Hillary Clinton lost Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin had probably zero to do with the emails. It had more to do with economics and just general disdain with the status quo/establishment of BOTH parties. All Clinton offered the middle/working class was more of the same....a lot of bullshite plans that never seem to improve anything other than the bottom lines of economic terrorists like Lloyd Blankfein, Jamie Dimon, et al from Wall Street and some of the tech overlords on the West Coast.

The Russians did not hack any voting machines and no one even from the Obama Administration ever suggested that they had. The Russians did not change results of reportage of results.

Toddy, What Flynn is accused of doing is a violation of the Logan Act enacted in 1799 and has been used exactly 0 times in the intervening 218 years because its scope is narrow to the extent that you could violate it by just talking to a foreign diplomat about business in general as opposed to the particular. If the roles were reversed and Hillary Clinton was going in to office ( she was a private citizen) would you have had your panties in a wad? Of course you wouldn't and please don't pull a Hugh Freeze and say that would not happen....happens all the time especially in Transition from Administration to Administration.

Hopefully this clears up your spin and now you might actually understand what happened and is happening. You may have gone to school in Oxford, but you did not go to school at Oxford. There is a difference.

Flynn was an Obama appointee to head military intelligence.

Why did Obama let this security risk into the very highest levels of government?

What did Obama know and when did he know it?

Did Flynn have information that could have been used to place Obama in a compromising position? Was Obama being blackmailed?

Flynn's resignation is not the end of this; there are questions that must be answered for the American people...

1,000,000% agreed. Let's shake the tree and see what happens.

I'm guessing it ends worse for Trump, though.
