I agree that mandates are bad.. recommendations are good.
But...
I worry that statements such as these can be twisted by the alphabet fairies to excuse and promote "gender affirmation".
Yes, I know there is a difference between being FORCED to put something into your child's body vs restricting what can be put into a child's body... but I really can see the bolded statement as a feather in the cap of gender benders.
But...
quote:
JOSEPH LADAPO: "Every last one is wrong and DRIPS with disdain and slavery! Who am I, or anyone else, to tell YOU what you should put in your body? Who am I to tell you what your CHILD should put in their body? I don't have that right. Your body is a gift from God. What you put into your body is because of your relationship with your Body and God."

I don't foresee that being a problem. The issue at hand is that they will take a newborn baby straight from the delivery room and inject it with a dozen foreign substances, all in the name of public health. That's crazy.
Human beings have made it up until the last hundred years of alleged public health policy and while life expectancies are certainly longer than they were previously, the concept that we are not robust enough as a species to not be able to can exist without medical intervention in this capacity is laughable.

Somehow right wingers have convinced themselves that vaccines are bad and serve no public purpose. Of course, the elimination of contagious childhood diseases requires a critical mass of immunized people. With this ridiculousness, the entire population will be exposed due to right wing ignorance based propaganda.
It is truly astounding that right wingers actively advocate for a return to the days before public health and vaccines.

Americans don’t need vaccines because we are Gods chosen people and he protects us. Most vaccines are like “we need to give your kid this chemical or else he will have a runny nose for 2 days”

The man made a universal statement easily applied to gender bending... I know that was not his intention, but that could very well be the effect.

I think the mandates he's referring to, in the context of childhood immunizations, are concerning daycares and schools that will not let a child attend unless they are fully vaccinated or have obtained waivers.
He honestly needs to do a very careful job threading this needle. I happen to agree with what he said- but even so, his boisterous statements can backfire on him.

And in your mind that’s due to ignorance and not making an educated risk vs reward decision.
I don’t the trust medical INDUSTRY at all, and that was prior to Covid. It is a business.
The defining difference between weak democrats, such as yourself, and strong willed republicans is that my operating base for everything in my life is self-reliance. That is filtered through an enormous distrust in people, especially where there is a conflict of interest and clear incentive of financial gain attached to their persuasion.

Wrong.
Not every skeptic is "vaccines are bad".
Many, if not most are "Damn, that's a lot at once- which ones are truly necessary? Which ones can be tailored to need? Can we spread these out a bit more?"
There are also a good many people, regardless of leaning, that take offense to mandates concerning injecting ANYTHING into their or their child's bodies. With good reason.

And somehow, leftists have morphed their godless religion of self to wrap up untested/unproved experimental bioweapon injections as a type of sacrament to prove their devotion/dedication. The cloth facemask persists in being the new yarmulke/rosary as an external demonstration of their piety.

Precisely. The period from 2020-22 resulted in the medical "experts" having set fire to any shred of credibility they once had. The moral high ground was abandoned when they chose to push agendas and not patient care.

Can someone explain to me why this is to be celebrated but illegals coming into the country and spreading diseases that they weren’t immunized to is a bad thing? The end result is likely to be the same and we’re making it more likely to happen with moves like this.

They all used to make fun of, to the point of being brutal, antivaxers on this board. Now......

If Florida wants to dig a hole that’s their prerogative.
But not at a national level. The US Taxpayer will not subsidize all the healthcare costs for those that refuse to take the basic care to address preventable illnesses…

They will certainly use this angle. There's no doubt.
But for any outside observer with a remotely functional mass of gray matter between their ears, it's pretty easy to draw a distinction between choosing not to inject chemicals into your body, and looking at an entire segment of society that wants to force you to believe that men have vaginas and women have hoyners and there's no difference between the two.

Ending mandates isn't ending recommendations or altering the vaccine availability- it simply removes the compulsory nature of it all.
Illegal aliens coming in, bringing disease is a problem.
Used to, we had control of our borders and health screened those desiring to enter. Many were turned away in the name of public health.
One of the biggest things I am concerned about with hordes of illegals is drug resistant tuberculosis. Which, a vaccine isn't recommended in the US.
If we control our borders, compulsory vaccination makes less sense.
If we keep our open borders, don't screen entrants, then compulsory vaccination makes a modicum of sense from a PH standpoint.
Close the borders. Screen those that do come across.
