Trump motivates the left to resist and vote against him like no other politician save for possibly Hillary.

That’s the difference many of us see Desantis doing better as the nominee.

That is far from an unreasonable opinion.

Whoever told Desantis he should run for President this coming election cycle is a dumbass.

Most people could see this coming from a mile away, and it could damage his chances in 2028.

That still doesnt answer how Desantis can win

Which is a reasonable question

The response is always polls then we are told polls are not legit

My answer was within that post.

He will not fire up the leftist loons as much leading to fewer of the loons voting.

I think more independents will go to vote since they won’t have to feel like they are holding their noses to vote between a choice of Dementia Joe and Trump.

That’s my opinion.

They really hate trump. Much of it unfairly. I get it. The media caused much of it. It is what it is.

Agreed. So dumb for the most conservative guy in a long time to run as a conservative.

The media will fire them up plenty with his abortion stance
Ron will also not inspire many to vote for him so this really isnt a great answer

Sure it is a good answer. You just disagree.

The media will always try to take down the conservative.

Ron’s abortion stance is just fine. It’s conservative and similar to Europe.

frick the media. Ron is an expert at actually owning them.

Who could've predicted you'd fall on your face. Again.

I referenced specific data. Your boy jBUMPdawgs03 posted the poll. That's the difference between Loyalists and people who actually understand data analysis.

Damn. Only 8 percent think Joe and Trump are the best candidates. Yikes.

Sad state of affairs.

How can Ron win a general?

Because the majority of the country wants new leadership. People are sick of the old, corrupt, out of touch politicians. He has a track record of policies that are popular with Dems and Repubs. He’s the closest thing to a normal everyday guy in politics today. He might actually unify the public instead of always dividing. And the left won’t be near as motivated to turn out as they are against Trump.

Bingo.

Being behind Trump is one thing.

Being behind the likes of Vivek, Pence, and Haley is pretty bad considering Vivek’s a nobody and both Pence and Haley are hated by much of the base.

Someone who was supposed to be a favorite shouldn’t be running 5th behind some of these clowns.
