re: Florida Politics: “National support for Ron DeSantis hits low point — again”

If Ron is far and away the strongest general election candidate, shouldn’t he be doing better in primary polls? I wish a Ron supporter would explain this one to me.
I’ll try. The right as a whole is so angry and irrational that if given a choice between paying down 25% of the national debt over a four year period, or cheerleading some guy calling Mika Brzezinski a fat twat while watching the national debt go UP 25%, they’d choose door number two.
People are divorced from policy success, and live for what they perceive as the pain forced on who they perceive as their enemy.

All of Rons policies are the same as Drumpfs
Everyone loved his policies
But you clearly cannot answer the question. None of you can cause it always just ends up being a whine fest

Maybe the point FOR YOU, it isn’t for others. For me it offers an opportunity to support an unapologetically conservative governor who hasn’t yet treated the US Treasury like a Del Taco toilet.
But you now know he can’t win.

Please Meatball, Bro. Please drop out, Bro. You have to, Bro. It's Trump's turn, Bro.

nah
The right, in large part, has seen this movie already. They have seen the GOPe run as fiscal conservatives...and govern differently. They see RIGHT frickING NOW, the GOPe attempt to pass yet another CR, just a few months after giving Biden a blank check and setting our budget as a perpetual 2T+ deficit.

I disagree, but, Makes no difference to me, my primary vote goes to the candidate that represents my beliefs. Trump is a FAR cry from what I believe in, and I believe he’d do the same thing he did last time. I don’t want to see that, and would rather just get on with the crash/reset than his slow bleed to death.

Agree completely, but there’s nothing I see in DeSantis that spells GOPe.

I disagree
I know you do but you cant provide a coherent answer on how he could win if he was the nom cause he wouldnt beat any dem if Trump cant
You again just whined about Trump instead of answering a simple question

It isn't whining if I state "I disagree with you". I care nothing about 'howze he pollin, man!'

Hahaha cuckeye you can do better than that. Can you link where I’ve called for him to drop out once? I’ve actually said consistently Murdoch isn’t letting him dropout anytime soon.

My answer is "you are wrong about DeSantis being able to beat biden"
Reagan polled poorly in the Summer of 1979. I don't give two schitts where anyone polls. Hope this helps

Bingo. Why make policy when you can own the libs (without really “owning” them)?
