So with the current state of the country you’d rather sit out then vote for Trump over Biden? Pathetic.

It’s definitely starting to look that way. My question is were they leftists all along or are they Bush / Romney R’s that are just consumed with TDS

It almost feels bad bodybagging the Ronbots so hard. Gotta give them credit for being true believers though. They never wavered from the script when debating over Ron's support with them. I'd say it feels good to be proven right but they already know that

He was polling at 30% at one point. It was a combination of those that hate Trump (that’s the 13ish pct) and those who were extremely disappointed in the midterms and were briefly demoralized.

He’s shed the latter support over the last 6 months. It’s been a total free fall.

Rarely have I seen a campaign squander capital and momentum like his did.

Almost a textbook example of the GOP's problems since Reagan left office. (Gingrich did OK for a while, but something something Icarus something.)

The more you run him down, the fewer people vote for the 80 year old big spender. You’re chewing off your own leg, and it’s funny

That’s the plan. It’s why he’s in the race.

But we are down to 13%. Actually saw 10% in NH today. A lot less people are angry for “running down” Desantis because they are coming to grips with his weaknesses and realizing he never should have run.

But, you are right there are some of you who will take it personally and choose to vote Democrat.

They are all the disgruntled Rubio/Cruzites from 2015

…and wrongly assume that Republican voters will vote for him in the general.

It would have been a blowout.

Luckily we have a fighters chance with Trump.

Chris Christie the spox for the big E club-had a litter of kittens and a hissy fit hearing Trump was skipping the second debate and going to the Detroit strike to tell them the green new deal sucks.

The workers are striking for many reasons but one is because they are saying the cars they will be building they could not afford to buy.

Trump will be there in MI and the GOP establishment & media won't have Trump to do gotchas on.

Meatball can scream bop but I don't think Vivek will be easily attacked. They are forced to challenge each other and they are all on the same E team minus Vivek.

It was hollow momentum based on the disappointment of the midterms. Trump hadn’t even started campaigning. And he still was polling 20 points above Desantis.

If you give his campaign the benefit of the doubt and assume they were just wrong, they completely misread a very easy to see landscape.

In truth, they had objectives beyond winning. The real goal was to sink Trump in the general. It’s why they continue to try and work their own supporters into anger even as winning is no longer on the table.

.

Wrong dickhead. I don’t plan to vote for Biden. You need to come to grips with the reality that the choice between two big spending fools might be avoid both. I don’t vote for a living

I like DeSantis.

Wouldn't mind seeing him elected President.

But he was a fricking retard for running.

Really? You think Trump voters would sit on their asses while Joe Biden or Gavin Newsom wins the general?

You seriously believe that?

Do what you want. I'm not trying to change your mind. I was just pointing out that there will be some whose feelings are so hurt that they vote for Biden (or like you don't vote.)

That's the point of his campaign and always has been.

A good percentage would. I've estimated between 10 and 20%.

Absolutely. Dont' take my word for it. There's been plenty of polling on it. But, I've been saying it for a long time on here.

Maybe the point FOR YOU, it isn’t for others. For me it offers an opportunity to support an unapologetically conservative governor who hasn’t yet treated the US Treasury like a Del Taco toilet.

I don’t know if DeSantis would print money at a rate higher than Biden is, or Obama did. I DO know Trump did, which makes it more likely he would again.

And we’ll be offering up some big “I told you so’s” in November 2024. Unfortunately.

If Ron is far and away the strongest general election candidate, shouldn’t he be doing better in primary polls? I wish a Ron supporter would explain this one to me.
