Lindey Boggs was ostracized by her fellow Senatorial females due to her refusal to support Pro-abortion policies. Democrats are all radicals at heart.

This.

Bring back the Latin Mass.

As a Catholic I’ve never agreed with priests who do this. Even though I think his reasoning is sound, I don’t think a priest should shame someone like that. If a person wants to live their life in sin and still receive communion, that’s between them and God and the priest should back off.

He wouldn’t receive Communion at my church either. We have a closed table and would have to be examined (provide his testimony) to our session and they would likely question his ongoing support for child murder in terms of living a life for Christ and His kingdom.

Born and raised Catholic with zero plans to ever change and I agree 150% with this! Fortunately our priest shares those exact values as mentioned in the quote. He’s also a proponent of the 2A and a very avid hunter.

.....this priest will be gone in less than a week.....book it.

So-called sins against the environment has now eclipsed abortion as the new "deadly sin".

So what does it say about you, that you profess to follow a leader who exemplifies almost nothing the Church teaches?

He certainly doesn’t love his neighbor, and most certainly doesn’t turn the other cheek. He’s been divorced how many times? He objectifies women. He has made money his God. He is immoral and a bully.

I think it was right for the priest to refuse Biden communion. I hope it wasn’t a stunt. But on what moral high ground can you stand and proclaim him a bad person, but idolize Donald Trump? I wouldn’t think moral fiber a thread that you wish to pull too hard.

The hypocrisy is incredible.

He probably doesn't fkn like it. Don't lump all priests into one basket. And stay on topic or start your own thread.

And right on cue there’s the “democrat” trying to have a gotcha moment while acting like some sort of intellect. Par for the course for a “democrat”.

I’m totally pro-life, but is the pastor saying only non sinners can take communion? I don’t like this.

I normally don’t like the bleed over of politics and religion as most policies are not black and white, but Joe and Nancy should not be receiving communion. They obviously care more about votes than their faith. I apply this to trying to make homosexuality not a sin in action, or people who propose socialism as greed.

The same can be said for republicans who say hateful things about immigrants or demonize the poor though. I think those are a little more grey as you can be against illegal immigration and for immigrants and care about the poor without wanting to force a nonbeliever to give.

I’m not catholic but we will avoid communion of people who are in adulterous relationships or other publicly known sin. I’ve seen 2 guys in affairs be skipped over and then asked to leave if we catch them. It’s 3k people so hard to police.
