Yep. Wacky Tune Friday, or something like that. Wish they still did that.
It’s how I learned who Rodney Carrington and Red Peters were.
Listening to W&J the morning of 9/11 while in college. It’s how I learned of the first plane. Some guy called into the show and was talking about a plane that had just crashed into the World Trade Center. Being W&J at that time were based in LaPlace, I first thought the dude was talking about the WTC of NOLA.
Turned on my TV in time to see the second jet fly into the other tower.

I'll give Kenny credit, he handled the backlash well. And Fleming might have swayed me his way. I agree with those that say he handled himself well.

That's good to hear. I'll have to listen when they put it on the podcast. Usually don't listen to W&J on Fridays, as I typically use the morning to get yardwork done for the weekend.
Plus with as overly political as the show has become since John's passing, I like to not get worked up on my Friday mornings.
