You have used similar terms to denigrate people who oppose this more than once. Do you have a vested interest in the industry, or do you just prefer Letlow over Fleming.

I guess Moon Griffon is ‘stirring up hillbillies’ too.

The Times-Picayune endorsed Letlow also.

Excellent point. Landry, the Data Center sycophant and Carbon Sequestration Ghoul is helping fund Letlow because she’s a RINO.

LACAG has been a round for far longer than Fleming's been sniffing around this Senate race. You can not like the guy or his positions, but he's not a "front" for Fleming.

Carbon Capture and Sequestration.

This is unnecessary and a money grab. There is no reason to “capture” CO2.

I am for Fleming 100% but Chris Alexander is a nut!

His “facts” are rarely accurate. He literally makes things up or puts an incredibly dishonest spin on something small to try to make it into something it is not

Most definitely phony on some of his anti CCS stuff

I don't know this Chris fellow, but anyone who is "pro CCS" is a moron, so Chris sounds like my kind of guy.

Carbon Capture is like the cherry on top of the Global Warming scam ice cream sundae.

Anyone who supports it, or even tolerates it as legitimate, should be shamed and avoided at all costs.

I don't. I care about facts and those two Fleming fronts are frauds with a lot of fake information used to gin up opposition from gullible and naive hillbilly types on social media.

Why do you defend CCS in almost every thread it is mentioned?

What fake information is being spread about carbon sequestration ?

1 - I've met Chris Alexander a few times. His sister down in the Lafayette area was very involved with the local Tea Party.

2 - Chris Alexander has been wrong since Day 1 about the TECHNICAL (safety) aspects of CCS. He's written articles on The Hayride before about oil & gas issues, but he has no real material experience in the industry that I can tell.

3 - That does not mean that Treasurer Fleming and many of his supporters are wrong about the FISCAL aspects of CCS. Tax dollars should not be propping up this fake sham.

4 - Rep. Letlow has been afraid to get on a stage for a TV debate, even in the initial primary campaign. That's a red flag for me, personally.

5 - She's only in the race because of Gov. Landry. In fact, John Fleming told people months and months ago the Governor was trying to get her into the race, and the 4th Floor of the Gov's office denied it and told people he was crazy. Well here we are, and all the fluff involved with it is just strange. State Rep. Emerson jumped in the race after she said she would run only if Letlow wouldn't run. Then when Letlow enters, she does drop out, though immediately is appointed the Governor's chief of staff, after his chief of staff left to run Letlow's campaign.

Exactly- just because you disagree with someone doesn’t make him less of a person than you.

I'm very glad to see by the "3/59" reaction to the OP that people didn't fall for this obvious hit piece.

PS - CitizenK is lucky that I don't run this place. Using a message board for an unscrupulous attack like this should warrant a ban.

Governor Landry was caught with cocaine under his house. He’s the leader of the Letlow! for Senate campaign. Does that disqualify Letlow?

Investment money is requiring it. If you want investment in LA this comes with it. Then again we could all go back to being small farmers with 80 acres and a pair of mules.

I’ve known Chris Alexander a long time. This wasn’t performative bullshite. He was trying to do the right thing, the wrong way.

Dude took his lumps, owned it and faced the consequences.

It sucks that he’s only known as a “disbarred attorney.” Our past is not a life sentence.
