Everyone I know that moved to Montana from Louisiana is a hippie and more likely a liberal. Sooner or later as they stay there they will transfer their ideas to Montana.

The biggest cities in the state have become liberal shitholes due to Californians migrating. Longtime locals are pissed about it. Bozeman is nicknamed Boze Angeles by Montanans now. Missoula might even be more liberal than Bozeman.

If I were the Chief of Police in these cities I’d have zero tolerance for druggy homeless people.
I’d arrest every single one of them and throw them in solitary confinement with the bare essentials. A shitty mattress, a single blanket and shitty pillow, and feed them bologna sandwiches for every meal. I’d give them a choice, “A bus ticket to a blue city in a blue state, or continue to live in prison with the bare minimum.” And never show your face again in this town.

Only certain parts of Boise are blue. Specifically the Bench and North End. The rest, and especially all of the suburbs like Meridian, Kuna, Star, Eagle, etc. are deep, deep red. And only getting redder. Same with up north in the CDA area. CDA actually used to lean blue. Now it's deep red.
