Most projections put it that way. Yes there are alternative theories, and you're free to believe them, but for the time being mine is the most accepted. Unlike evolution, I will be open to hearing others with this one.

Thank heavens someone actually agrees on the foolishness of the Theory Of Evolution.

The idea that humans originated in sub-saharan africa and spread from there never made much sense to me. The sahara desert is nearly the size of the united states. No primitive people were crossing that desert to populate other lands. They would have been cooked and died.

Besides the aforementioned relatively recent desertification of the Sahara, there is far too much genetic diversity within sub-Saharan vis a vis the rest of the world to make anyone seriously think otherwise. The amount of genetic diversity within sub-Saharan Africa is exponentially larger than it is even between the rest of the world.

Plus, all of our closest meaningful genetic relatives are in Africa. That's pretty compelling all on its own.

Noory is probably basing that theory on the works of Zecharia Sitchin.

It's a very interesting theory that deserves its own thread.

It's not interesting. It's fricking re todd ed.

This is what is so awesome about science. They update their conclusions based on available evidence.

That way they are never wrong.

North Africa also sees more precipitation when less of the planet’s water is locked up in ice. Such increases in moisture limit how far the Sahara can spread and can even spark times of a “green Sahara”, when the sparse desert is replaced by abundant lakes, plants and animals.

This is the take away from your link and what many folks choose to ignore, there are some serious winners from global warming including some of the poorest on earth who are starving to death due to climate.

Have you read any history of The Sumerians? What do you find retarded about ancient archeology?

Sounds like this part is very important to you.

Ya know. I knew someone would go there.

But it's funny. I've always kind of felt that the out of Africa model was so comfortably accepted in part due to racism.

Think about it for a second.

Absolutely.

When the OOA theory was first proposed based on finding the remains of Lucy, black people couldn't wait to tell the white race that the ancestors of all human beings originally came out of Africa.

Some people are afraid to examine the evidence with an open mind because it could possibly prove them wrong.

I know this as a fact because that is what happened to my brother and me when we tried to get John McCosker to view our first video of sea serpents swimming in SF Bay after he told us years earlier that if we got a video of a sea serpent swimming in SF Bay then he would be glad to look at it.

Just because "all of our closest meaningful genetic relatives are in Africa" that isn't absolute proof the ancestors of all human beings came out of Africa.

When evidence is found which even tends to prove that the ancestors of all human beings didn't come out of Africa then we must examine that evidence with an open mind.

Don't you agree?

Even if everyone on the entire planet doesn't believe the truth about something, that doesn't mean it isn't the truth.

When new evidence is found that even tends to prove the OOA theory may be wrong then that evidence should be examined with an open mind.

Don't you agree?
