If you believe this is modern phenomenon- I’m not sure where you have been

Trans surgeries for soldiers and the like should have been proof long ago

4 Star General (O-10), 62 years old and been in the Air Force for 40 years.

He has reached the pinnacle of rank and still young enough to go to work for Boeing or Lockheed at 3x his current pay along with his retirement.

Why would he not retire?

There’s no doubt they will remove any access he had, effective immediately. It’s obvious the guy has been compromised. Probably had a gay lover.

It’s supposed to be absolutely APOLITICAL.

Purging the wokeness is returning it to that original intent.

As the late great El Rushbo always said: “The military exists to kill people and break things. It’s not intended to be a social experiment.”

He never struck me as woke, he didn't strike me as anti-woke either. I suspect that being offered vice chief of staff vs. the chief of staff role played into the decision.

They won't remove his clearance... it will be allowed to expire if it is not renewed...

Quitters gonna quit.

Full disclosure, I'm not a military man (and for those that are: TYFYS). But as a red blooded American, I don't really want quitters on that fine line of defense.

Pete Hegseth speaking like this in front of 4 star generals and admirals may be a tough pill to swallow. But if recruiting is up and this kind of rhetoric is making people excited to serve our country, how can you say he's not doing a pretty good job? He's the secretary. Serve or don't.
