Firearms & ammo

Will we ever see reasonable firearms and ammo prices under the upcoming Democratic regime? Geeze, $1.00 - $2.75 a round for carry ammo and a +50% increase on firearm prices is insane. And then they want to increase taxes on it, too.
And even if prices stay sky high, will availability increase ?

Ammo will be a lot more expensive because of new taxes. Dems will never go directly at guns as they know they will lose in the courts.

Was there not a ruling from the USSC not long ago that basically stated ammo=arms and therfor constitutionally protected?

The taxes will be under the guise of environmental protection (lead + all the other icky chemicals). Obamacare ruling essentially gave Congress unfettered power to tax.

The Ocare ruling said they can tax per the powers granted in the Constitution. But the court has also made several rulings (see: abortion) that a state cannot create an undue burden on an individual’s ability to exercise a right.

I have been stocking up for those reasons

Makes me feel bad for all the people losing their businesses.

Maybe, The firearm market will be a fine balancing act for the next 4 years at least. I have a feeling the Biden is going to say something right after being inaugurated that will not help the current situation.
Now if nothing ever gets done it will eventually even out and get back somewhat to normal. However it will take just the slightest negative comment from Biden to set it off again.
I have no doubt they are going to try and get some pretty terrible "gun control" laws passed. As evidenced by the bills that have already been introduced.
If you care about preserving the 2nd Amendment I propose instead of buying a new gun or ammo this month join/donate to a gun rights organization.

Yeah, it'll probably be a roller coaster. Millions of ARs were built and sold under Obama. I remember waiting like 6 months to get an upper. But then pretty quickly things would ease up for a while.

absolutely, The millions of AR's built and sold definitely were not due to Obama being a huge 2nd Amendment supporter and urging people to exercise the right. If was because Obama would politicize every thing he could to push his anti-rights agenda. He failed miserably at it but that doesn't mean he didn't want to actually pass more laws.

According to the pure piece traitorous f*cking ignorant filth that is John Roberts, the Dims can pass any unconstitutional law and as long as they throw in a provision that says -- if you don't do it we'll just add a tax in the Internal Revenue Code that gives you "the option" to not do it -- then it becomes completely Constitutional.
So, if Biden can get a law passed saying that all women between the ages of 18 and 50 must come to D.C. and sit on his lap while he gropes them -- that would be unconstitutional. But, according to frickHEAD Roberts, as long as the law says that if they don't do it they'll just be charged a tax and that tax is codified in the Internal Revenue Code and collected by the IRS, then that law is perfectly Constitutional.
And, there are actually f*cking MORONS out there who do not believe that SCUMBAG Roberts has been compromised. I mean, SERIOUSLY, how f*cking STUPID do you have to be to think that Roberts isn't a traitorous piece of pure f*cking filth that's being blackmailed by the Dims?

I've been trying to get AR-15 ammo for three months now. I'm on several waiting lists. They have the really expensive rounds, but nothing that you would go to the firing range with. I purchased 500 rounds back in September but I'm afraid to go to the range with them until I can get some more.
My brother started trying to get a 9mm pistol in the $400-600 range about a month ago. They are sold out EVERYWHERE.

They'll start off with an absolute horrible gun control bill that Manchin will defeat
Shortly after they'll send another more 'reasonable' bill that he accepts
Somehow Compromise is me demanding a million dollars from someone, offering nothing in return, and compromising on them giving me $10,000 while still getting nothing in return

They will only lose in the short term. They are going to stack the courts and with the State in perma power we either have to have a revolution or we will become subject before the end of this term.

Democrats are the best gun salesmen, so probably not.

Easy fix - packed court coming within 90 days. Dems will up the number from 9 to 15 then immediately appoint 6 justices like the Flynn judge and Stacey Abrams and her sister. Think how historic it will be for 2 sisters (minorities too) to both be Supreme Court Justices for life. Ruth Ginsburg will be smiling from the other side.

The Democrats will never outright ban guns, but they'll make it so damn inconvenient to own one that Joe Citizen won't want to go through the red tape and expense to buy one or for the local gun store to sell them.
