Years ago I worked in an ER that received military personnel involved in a chopper crash in water. It actually broke in half. There were injuries but fortunately, all survived. The thing to me that was so amazing is how calm they were. The pilot described the events as if he was talking about any other flight. These people had been well trained and when an emergency arose they did what they were trained to do.

I've flown in many helicopter flights.
How were they in the fuselage? Maybe I don't want to know but this sounds horrible.

Anderson Pooper opened his show tonight by talking about the pilot who was giving the evaluation. Cooper said "HE had 1000 hours". Then he said "the pilot flying had 500 hours"
