This is the logical conclusion of the “happy wife happy life,” appeasement crowd.

These stories make me want to hit my knees and thank God for my wife. Just a good ol white Christian wife, who happens to be the best mom on the planet.

Almost every conservative male marries a liberal woman (at least the first go round). The question is who controls the narrative of the household when push comes to shove.

If it isn’t the husband, the marriage is really no different than marrying a liberal male.

What kind of moron marries someone that polar opposites to their values? And spend the rest of their lives waking up next to a liberal lunatic.

The last flag we had on our house was a Saints fig.

Gay people don’t bother me but I don’t feel the need to celebrate homosexuality.

Her virtue signaling isn’t representative of her actual values. They seem to happy enough. They have kids together and still live in the same house. Their relationship is none of anyone’s business.

Sounds like your friend is a weak man and fully to blame for allowing his wife to indoctrinate their children.

Your friend has no self-respect. And his wife probably takes great pleasure in dominating and emasculating him daily.
She’s probably one of those TikTok feminist influencers who puts down the husband.

I'll always state my case if asked but I don't really care about other peoples' politics. That gets into an area that I have no control over. Far more peaceful for me to let people believe what they want.

I might ask my wife to tone it down if I was in the same position (just for the fact that it's not always a great idea to be political or religious acting in front of others -- you can turn them off) but ultimately you have to decide if that's something you can live with or not.

It's not a bad thing as long as you don't make it a religion where you follow it absolutely.

I'd prefer: happy spouse, happy life.

If both my wife and I look towards taking care of each other, we don't run into this kind of stuff.

He married a girl who ended up being a big time full blown lib. He’s what I would describe as your average center right type dude in America. Votes Republican, has an American flag bumper sticker, has guns, etc but not some in your face type either. Go along to get along type guy.

Long story we were at their house recently for a friends get together, and hadn’t been their in a few years. When we pulled up, they had a full blown pride flag with the transgender triangle on their house. My wife was confused at first thinking we had to have the wrong house. But we saw everyone in the backyard and we both looked at each other with a “WTF” look.

The sad thing is they have 3 sons, and I know he’s a good dude and is probably at the point he just doesn’t want to break up his family over her leftist BS. But there has to be some red line that is too far too cross. And flying the gay flag is definitely it. I was thinking how it must have killed him for his wife to fly that flag on his house, and then to have friends over. totally embarrassing.

Everyone makes minor concessions to keep the peace in every marriage, relationship, friendship, etc. Not everything is worth the headache of an argument.

If you can't roast your buddy for a gay pride flag, are you even actually friends?
