Just now on air with @kasiehunt Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti says: "I'm not speculating, that's a fact" that text message conversations also included in wiretap of Michael Cohen

If Trump and Cohen talked on the phone he will named as person A or person B etc...

Avenatti has been right about much of the things that have happened. He doesn’t need to know from prosecutors or law enforcement what has happened he is just a really good lawyer.

This is not the first time he has went up against Trump.

Wasn't this a civil case? Why would the FBI have an interest in wiretapping something of a civil nature?

At worst, this is an FEC violation and not necessarily something that the FBI would need to obtain wiretap warrants for.

Also why is Stormy Daniels suing. I'm not seeing the damage here....she and Avenatti are making out like bandits, moolah galore and all of the coke they can snort.

Additionally, why would the FBI or the US Attorney make Avenatti privy to clandestine info

Something does not seem right with this whole case and all of the B.S. surrounding it.

Trump bones Porn star.....porn star admits to being boned by Trump and does not see herself as some sort of assault victim.

Porn Star alleges she was threatened by some goon telling her to shut up about Trump 5 years before election

A few weeks before the election Michael Cohen approaches porn star to sign a NDA. Porn star signs NDA and receives 130K.....porn star keeps NDA

Now porn star says she has been defamed? She's a porn star who readily took money to keep her mouth shut. Maybe Cohen should not have given her the money straight up like that, but this case really should be no big deal that the USA in SDNY is involved and that the FBI should be bugging Michael Cohen in calls to the White House

Actually, why would the FBI be wasting their time with such a small deal like this????

I was responding to someone saying definitively that there was a warrant. The news report says otherwise

No it doesn't. The news report says they didn't know WHEN the warrant was obtained. The section of the article you quoted even said that. They couldn't tap his lines without a warrant.

Robert Costa
?
@costareports
NEW: Giuliani tells me he can't confirm there were wiretaps, hasn't been informed. But when read NBC report, he was furious. "If they picked up the president, they would have had to notify him." Said if true, wld be a "mockery" of attorney-client privilege and "gov't misconduct"

This seems like common sense. If they are monitoring the digital transmissions to and from the phone then they are also capturing text msgs. To anyone paying attention, Avenatti is, more than anything, running a PR campaign for Stormy. This is just another way to get his clients name out there. It appears the Feds are more interested in the $20+ million that Cohen and his father in-law loaned to a Chicago taxi baron than the Stormy NDA.

I have never watched Hannity, however, tonight I will - he will need a double shot of Xanax topped with an old timey lude. Good rocking for sure.

You can thank Trump for that. Had it not been for him that would have happened.

I hope Michael Cohen had a copy of Weiner's "insurance policy" folder on his hard drive including the FizzleDrip tape. It's going to be interesting to see Mueller avoid that can of deep state worms.
