Feds Spend $368,695 Studying Microaggressions in Engineering Programs

You know I’m actually more pissed off at the Republicans in this. They’re the ones who run the Executive Branch, Congress, the Courts, State Governors, and State Legislatures, so why was this fricking bullshite of lighting my taxpaying dollars on fricking fire allowed? This definitive proof the government is too big and stupid and to be largely purged when shite like this is greenlit.

Or maybe female and minorty students don’t do engineering because they aren’t as intelligent as a group compared to the hated white males who are doing it.

Nothing I have seen supports the idea that as a group women or some minorities are as good at analytical thinking as white males. Some are, most aren’t in my experience.

I’m guessing Asians, who are the majority in most STEM graduate programs, aren’t counted as minorities in prog world....

Yes, this microaggressions study is a waste of money.
Healthcare, however, affects people's lives.
The private health care insurers lost their right to see that Americans have health care because health care premiums are too expensive.
I am an Independent, swing voter. I do not like Republicans or Democrats. I'm a centrist voter. I am not a fan of big government but one thing the government should do is see that every American citizen has healthcare because the private insurance companies have failed in that regard.
Healthcare, however, affects people's lives.

Has it been shown definitively that white women have lower IQs than white men? The actual answer is it’s a double edged sword. The average woman is more likely to be smarter than the average man, but exceptionally intelligent men usually have a higher IQ than exceptionally intelligent women relative to their own sex. Conversely, the dumbest of men are way dumber than the dumbest of women, to where they average themselves out. Men’s intelligence is highly variable, while women’s aren’t.

Rights are also not government granted, rights are what you are born with.
Freedom of speech, religion, etc.
