Original investigation is a federal investigation for being accused of sexual assault allegations as a public official by multiple women. His electronic devices were seized in August at the airport. LA county is also investigating him on other sexual related crimes.

Swalwell does not own a "ritzy mansion." So the story sent my antennas up.
Apparently Steven Cloobeck was a billionaire supporter who was letting ES stay at his Beverly Hills estate during the gubernatorial race. When the sex stuff came up at the beginning of the year, Cloobeck not only kicked ES to the curb, he switched parties from Dem to GOP.
Swalwell has not lived there for 6 months. I wonder if there is something Cloobeck came across in the interim, and dropped a dime on FangFang's Bo.
