The sign of a well ran city, for sure.

Of course the Jackson mayor responds with, “what security threat??”

I mean, we all have heard so much about how safe and secure downtown Jackson, MS is.. haven’t we?

These security concerns must be fairly significant since the hula hoop sized potholes didn't stop them.

Good. I wish 911 would stop taking calls from any precinct that voted democrat.

That’s why I want to make sure this isn’t something that’s been made up to make excuses for not delivering to this area,” she said.

Is she blind and deaf?

Yessir.. a delivery company just said “frick profits!! We are just hate mongers who wanna frick the public!! Shut em off!!”

Talk like that is a gut punch for anyone believing people will come around and decide they are fed up in these locations. The shootings, robbery, burglaries, drugs, etc are NORMAL. And when someone sees it as not normal… their intentions are questioned.

Wonder why they call it a zip code... what does zip even mean?

Okay, I googled and here's the answer. Never knew this.. A nice little factoid for the board.

quote:

The ZIP in ZIP Code stands for Zone Improvement Plan, and it was introduced July 1, 1963, as part of a larger Postal Service Nationwide Improved Mail Service (NIMS) plan to improve the speed of mail delivery.

Frick FedEx anyway.

I had to tow one of those mofo’s out on Friday. Dude backed way off my driveway and got stuck on top of my septic system.

Such a lovely place

And yet you’re called racist for moving your family to a safer part of the area with much better schools and running drinkable water and getting value for your tax dollars

FedEx must be racist or something

When do we start organizing raids into these areas? We need to disable all of their transportation and communication to keep the crime from spreading

Racist in charge won't release accurate crime stats so no one knows about such threats. Fed Ex needs to release them for that particular zip code.

You got it, free deliveries and shipping for the next 300 years to make up for it. They have to top San Francisco's 250

I guess it was 5 or 6 years back I had to be in Jackson for work. It was absolutely awful then, from a safety/security standpoint. I don't suppose it has improved with age.

Jackson, MS, is in a similar situation to Los Angeles of Demolition Man.

Simon Phoenix is glad Fed Ex is getting the message.

what's humorous is that the people that will cry "racism" wouldn't want to live there either

Jackson and Hinds county have to be one of the most corrupt places in the nation. The DA owns a bar in downtown Jackson and drug dealing goes on their all weekend long. JPD knows it's off limits.

The State is trying to save the city by expanding the MS Capital police and setting up a sperate court system because the elected judges are corrupt as well. Yet the city is fighting it tooth and nail because they want the $$$ to keep flowing.
