Federal judge stops administration from terminating certain international students' status

A federal judge on Thursday blocked federal immigration officials with the Trump administration from terminating the legal status of thousands of international students while a legal battle moves forward.
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White, who sits on the U.S. district court in Oakland, California, found that a group of foreign nationals who are in the country on F-1 student visas but had their legal status terminated were likely to succeed in a challenge to the Trump administration's actions.
White said in a 21-page decision that federal immigration officials don't suggest that the plaintiffs pose an immediate threat to safety or national security. But the students, he wrote, will "continue to suffer significant hardship" because of the administration's actions, absent judicial relief.
White, nominated by President George W. Bush, wrote that the relief provided to the plaintiffs gives them a "measure of stability and certainty that they will be able to continue their studies or their employment without the threat of re-termination hanging over their heads."
His nationwide injunction blocks immigration authorities from arresting or jailing the plaintiffs in the case or those who are similarly situated until the dispute is resolved, and from transferring them outside of the jurisdiction where they live. White's order also bars the Trump administration from reversing its reinstatement of certain international students' legal status.

The left has circumvented the will of the people, the electoral college and popular vote to wage full lawfare against a duly elected President. Time for some fricking heads to roll.... and fast.

District Courts can ignore the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is as useless as Congress.

A) tell all targeted deportees there is a debit card give away at his house and only the first 100 in line get it so they camp out on his lawn.
B) a week later handcuff and deport them all.... right there on his lawn.
C) make sure you rut up the lawn for 'officer safety' with the so-called gestapo vans.
D) dare him to come outside and try and interfere. Double dog dare him.

This is literally ridiculous.
Trump should've become a federal district judge.
They evidently have way more power than the president...

What, specifically, do federal immigration officials suggest about these individuals?

The US is the dumbest, most self destructive country on the planet. I will never understand why they want to import millions of foreigners who we know nothing about. What dumb fricks

Good catch, that was written in to the article in a way to trick readers into believing that Federal Agents said
' the plaintiffs pose an immediate threat to safety or national security."
Think of the all bull shite that can be peddled when leading a sentence/paragraph with:
Federal (xyz agency) Officials DON'T sugesst

It really is a convoluted way for the Fed/ICE to try to go about doing this. They terminated the SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) records of thousands of students across the country, which essentially revoked their visas. Since then, the Fed/ICE have stated in court that they have no criminal charges or proceedings against any of these students and none of them are deemed a threat to national security, and they have even started reinstating the SEVIS eligibility for 4,700 of those students. It really does sound like they tried painting with a broad brush and fricked it up.

I suspect the Dems game plan is to have the judiciary cripple the President’s agenda for the first two years followed by taking the House and bogging him down in endless impeachments to cripple his second term.
