The hypocrisy of liberals comes out if you let them express their opinion enough.

Different? Yes. Any less selectively violative of the Constitution? No.

In the only situation in which a woman would NEED an abortion, she'd be in a hospital, you ignorant vexatious little monkey clown.

The government has decided that a lot of rights can be suspended during this emergency.

Are you saying the right to an abortion is greater than the right to work, or to assemble, or worship?

No I’m saying the government shouldn’t be suspending anything and this was an insanely slippery slope where we give up freedoms as usual in exchange for safety. I think it’s an enormous mistake to allow the government to take any of our freedoms always, temporary or no and no matter the circumstances.

I’m not for big government.

If the governor wants them closed and the judge says she can't that is mandating they stay open because governors can apparently close anything else.

Why do you need to assemble to worship? Is that important to you? Suggest a quick look at Matthew 6.5-6

quote:

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly

What atheist scumbags are downvoting the Bible??

Why should abortion clinics close? Are doctors offices closed? I don’t get why dentists offices should be closed either though.

One of these is not like the other two.

You lost me right there.

No man or woman has the right to take a human life unless it's an act of self-defense.

1) You completely miss the point of that verse.

2) The Bible doesn't govern our rights as Americans; the Constitution does.

Nope, had the govenor closed all medical clinics it would have never been an issue, what the judge ruled was you can not selectivly close down abortion clinics but you likely know that already and are just being disengenous.

While not a fan of abortion I am a fan of honesty, why so many supposedly princilpled folks have abondoned truth is bewildering.

Did the judge also rule that dentists' offices must also be allowed to do business if they so desire?

Unless it is life threatening to the mother the procedure is literally classified as "elective surgery".

And in that case the appropriate venue is a hospital.

Elective procedures have been shut down basically everywhere

But you knew that.

Nope, sorry. It's not medical care. It's an elective procedure.

That is a noticeable conundrum for leftists. When a law is passed mandating an abortion clinic have a doctor with full admitting privileges, they sue and say it’s not necessary.

Then when something like this happens and they meet the criteria of being closed, ohhhh then it’s an important medical procedure.

Well, I'm against the overreach also.

But, the overreach has occurred and the ELECTIVE procedure of Abortion is...…………..well, elective.
