What are the chances we see this under Trump?

Hemp is part of what built America. It is necessary to MAGA.

I suspect this will be something he'll push more in his second term, towards the end.

Unfortunately, it's going to take states to force deregulation through their own decriminalization or legalization. Fortunately, legislators are seeing how big of a revenue stream it it. Getting past the big blue wall will be the ultimate hurdle.

I think he should push legalization just to troll the Dems. They would automatically take the obstruction position. Imagine a world where conservatives fought to legalize MJ, and the Dems opposed it.

I would guess early in second term. It might be a good idea to push DEA for rescheduling for medical MJ. Let legitimate people who need it be able to hold jobs and pass drug screening. Treat it as any other prescription that can’t be taken while AT work.

Pushing for full legalization would be counterproductive. You lose some of your base but gain it back from the smokers who like you now.

Hasn't our beloved Atty General already come out and said he is completely opposed to legalizing chronic?

I agree. I'd say until at least 50% of the states make recreational use legal the feds won't do anything to change the federal laws.

He's a short timer. He's cashing his last few checks these next couple of months.

It would give him a pretty big boost.

It would be funny to watch the left come out as anti-legalization

He needs to call Boehner and let him do his thing.

This is why very few people take legalizing marijuana seriously.

1. you morons can't decide if it's a recreational drug like tobacco or alcohol or a medicine like oxycotin or other drugs

2. In either case you idiots don't understand that a private company can fire your arse for having THC in your system during a drug screening whether marijuana is legal or not. In fact alcohol and oxycotin are two direct examples of this, both are legal, one as a recreational drug, the other as a medicine and your employer can fire you for having EITHER in your system .

Their heads will explode. They will have to vote for him and Trump knows this is how he will lock up 2020 with the millenials

The Dems are already talking about it cause he made a comment that he would be into it

They are so predictable
