The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new seasonal flu vaccine from Moderna that uses mRNA technology, the drugmaker announced Wednesday.
Called mFLUSIVA, it is approved for adults ages 50 and older. It's the first influenza vaccine using mRNA technology to receive FDA approval.
The approval "reflects the ongoing potential of our mRNA platform to help address important public health challenges through continued scientific innovation," Moderna said in a statement. "We are grateful to the clinical trial participants, investigators, regulators and Moderna teams whose contributions made this milestone possible."
Well this should be fun to discuss.

I so rarely get the flu shot to begin with, but if they're now using mRNA medicine in the flu shot, I've had my last flu vaccine.

Good to see that we are learning from mistakes.

The next meeting will approve for adults younger than 50 with comorbidities, the following meeting will approve for all adults and certain children with comorbidities, then the next will recommend for all individuals 6mo and older.
Like clockwork.

How long until it is required to be given in utero to any unaborted fetuses?

Thankfully, nobody has to take it and I, for one, will advise my doctor that I will not take an mRNA vaccine.
I asked if they are the only company making a vaccine.

I asked if they are the only company making a vaccine.

Eh, you missed the “this is now required or you lose your job” step as well as the “the shot was completely ineffective and we all knew it the whole time” step that comes a few years later.

No thanks. I’ll take my chances

Just when all the covid crap is back in the daylight here they come again. If Bill Gates is on this side of the green grass I am skeptical of anything medical. It's a sad state when the "smart people" want to decrease humanity thinking they will live forever and keep all the riches they have.

This post is not advocating for or against the getting the flu shot in the future. However, if circumstances in the future do make you inclined to get the flu shot then you can ask for the non mRNA one.

I can already here it:

I know you still got sick after the vaccine but if you hadn't taken it you would have been more sick maybe died!
This one always got me as there is no way to prove this one way or the other.

It depends on your perspective.
From a Big Pharma CEO perspective, as well as an FDA official that approves this type of shite and then eventually will find his way onto a Big Pharma Executive board, it is absolutely a huge win for those few individuals, mankind and the truth be damned.

They will all but discontinue "traditional" vaccines in classes where mRNA takes over. mRNA is supposedly a faster, more readily adaptable platform that will outweigh its clunky counterparts in both cost and scale.
For awhile you will have a choice... but not forever.

I'm pretty sure the flu shot is almost always ineffective.
"Whoops, turns out we really boofed those virus strains this year."
"Here, take this prescription for Tamiflu so your symptoms can reduce by about one day."

If they are using mRNA like the Covid shots where it forces our cells to make the parts that trigger an immune response, that's a serious no go.
If they use mRNA as a manufacturing process outside of our bodies, that's a different story. NVax used mRNA on moth cells to make the covid spikes and harvested them rather than coopting our own body cells.

Fauci is heavily invested it moderna...the same company that produced one of the covid jabs.
For 2 million dollars, the FDA will approve any drug.
quote:
Supreme Court: Pfizer, Moderna et al. may own your genes once you're injected with their lab-created mRNA, DNA
“The Supreme Court ruled that if there is anything synthetic, not from nature, inside of our genome, then whoever owns the patent on those synthetic parts now owns part or all of you as a human. That means Bill and Melinda Gates et al., The Department of Defense, et al. can literally own a human being. If this synthetic code is taken up into your genome, by law, you could be owned overnight.”
The case that provides the blueprint for pharmaceutical companies claiming ownership of your genes is Association for Molecular Pathology v. Myriad Genetics, Inc., 569 U.S. 576 (2013). This case originated from a Utah-based company called Myriad Genetics.
