If that’s all it was, they would have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. That the charge is attempted murder leads me to believe that they were in the process of carrying out the plot.

I don’t understand why y’all are bending over backwards every which way to minimize the crime. It’s 3 count, just denounce them as crazy loner kooks and be done with it. Making excuse after excuse like this just adds legitimization to their insanity.

EDIT: looks like it was conspiracy to commit murder. There’s a good example of the MSM bias; the OP’s BBC link had cited it as attempted murder

I guess I'm desensitized to this sort of shite. These last few years with antifa has given me the belief that none of the things you mentioned are illegal.

So what were they arrested for? Your post said they were haters but that isn't illegal. Neither is going to a rally. Curious what US law they broke. Thanks.

Conspiracy to commit murder. They went out to a target’s house and plotted ways to kill the couple and burn the house when they were done. Shitty dudes.

The arrests show an intensified focus on the group from law enforcement officials who are concerned that the supremacists may go beyond plotting to violent acts, a threat made more urgent ahead of a pro-gun rally Monday in Richmond, Va.

Wow that's quite a leap. These guys were arrested in Georgia. What do they have to do with the upcoming rally in Virginia?

quote:

Three Georgia men have been arrested after police say they were involved in a white supremacist group that had plans to overthrow the government and kill a Bartow County couple.

quote:

Lane, Kaderli and the undercover agent drove to the couple’s home in Bartow County to scope it out, according to the affidavit. After checking out the property and the surrounding neighborhood, Lane suggested using a sledgehammer as one way of breaching the door, then kill them with revolvers, according to the affidavit. Kaderli suggested they should burn the house down after the killings, it states.

The article doesn't say why they would have wanted to kill the couple in question, so I'm confused by that. Former members? Racial killing? It also says only 2 of them were with the agent at the time. What did the third guy do? I guess it will all come out at trial, but this seems like very little detail for something like this.

Most "terrorism" in the US has been done by undercover FBI agents coercing simpletons. The FBI is the biggest terrorist organization in the US.

Hitler had no problem with Muslims either. They shared a hatred of the Jews and he even used soldiers from the Middle East.

I suspect you’re confusing minimizing the crimes with skepticism about the crimes.

I think you answered your own question. These guys may be scum and need to be locked up.

However...1. We know that there are a lot of anti second amendment people in the deep state at various levels, 2. We know that law enforcement has been compromised (gun seizures in New Orleans, Portland PD supporting Antifa, the FBI targeting President Trump). 3. When something suspicious happens, the Las Vegas shooting or Epstein not killing himself, the authorities are quick to sweep it under the rug. 4. The media is going to portray everything in an anti patriotic, anti second amendment, anti constitutional light because they are communists.

So the wise person is, shall we say, skeptical.

Yeah...but why is that stuff illegal again? And it opens up other questions, like.. will it be illegal for everyone, or will it only be illegal for this specific group?

For 3 years, our msm and one major political party not only considered this kind of stuff legal, they even supported it.

So I can't all of a sudden shake my fist in anger when another group does it.

A hell of a lot more recent than the Cabal that is the U.S. Congress, or the unelected minions that just remain there doing their dirty deeds.

This, and finally people are starting to react to it.
