He's going to take the 5th. He has to, but I'm not sure he is entitled to, since he received a pardon. That said, if he comes clean, it may subject him to civil liability (lying in his official role does not protect him). If he continues the lie, he knows he can be charged with perjury. There's the rub. If he does not take the 5th, he may come clean, very emotionally and ask for forgiveness. Being short and nerdy, he probably grew up getting teased and getting his arse kicked. The powerful position he attained was his payback and he adored being loved by people and respected. The diary shows that.

That's certainly a possibility being he is very cocky. The sincerity he may show would all be manufactured.

This criminal should leave that hearing in handcuffs.
