Exactly my point. Let US farms fail, have no domestic controlled food supply, and have to rely on other countries. That would be great.

This. Cracks me up how so many farmers have gotten used to the ease of growing corn and beans they refuse to go back to rice or cotton because “that’s too much work.” So instead they grow beans at a loss and bitch to the Govt to save them. Useless fat lazy fricks

They aren’t all going to fail. The market won’t allow it. The ones that do fail will be the ones that over produce counting on daddy government to by their excess grain.

Where are you getting that we rely on other countries for food? They rely on us. 
Link to where China relies on the US for food? Other than soybeans ( about 60% from the US) that they mostly use for animal feed meal. China is a food secure nation & doesn't rely upon anyone to feed them. China feeds itself.
Semi conducter chips for their huge telecommunications industry is one of the few places that China isn't self sufficient . China spends more money on Semiconductor chip imports than OIL. The reason Huawei & ZTE are susceptible to these US bans on Conductor chips. The reason China determined to become self sufficient chip makers as not to rely on Western nation's for semi conductor chips.

They certainly have challenges feeding 1.5 billion people . Enough arable land & environmental issues ( water pollution / soil) may become an issue ,but China doesn't rely on anyone for food. And can you blame them after watching this trade war being dependent on some volatile US politicians?

You've not been to China, and you've not familiarized yourself with enough facts to speak accurately about life there. China's water supply is generally more polluted than your toilet water BEFORE YOU FLUSH.
To say it "may become" polluted (as you did) is like saying PenguinNadler may become fat.
