Now, I'm not saying we should take him at his word (although I tend to believe him), but it's criminal that paper ballots are not used EVERYWHERE in this country.
Paper ballots... use OCR to scan for preliminary reporting results... then count the paper. Voila... hack-proof elections.

Yeah, no one has ever hacked paper ballots. No one would ever show up to the 3rd recount with a car trunk filled with absentee ballots to provide a decisive margin in a race for US Senate - it would be absurd.

i used to work a scanning operation. you can "hack" those scanning machines, too.

You obviously don't get the point. The scanning machines would not be the official tally... just a preliminary reporting tool. The PAPER BALLOTS would be official.
